Meet your teacher

Serious learning,
humanly taught.

I have loved Psychology since long before earning my degree. My goal is to make complex ideas clear—and to help every learner feel capable, curious and confident.

My experience spans Psychology, university teaching and English-language education in international classrooms. I combine academic rigour with patience, warmth and a genuine curiosity about how each person learns.

A-level Psychology

“As an A-level student, I can say that my writing and exam technique transformed during my time with Oxana. My essays finally began to hit the mark because she showed me how to structure arguments clearly, select relevant evidence and integrate evaluative points instead of simply describing theories. Her use of relatable case studies and visual memory graphs made difficult ideas in cognition and memory much easier to understand and recall. Oxana's explanations were patient, engaging and always connected back to exam questions, so I understood not only the content but how to use it effectively. I became much more confident in my abilities, and my grades improved noticeably as a result.”
Carolina V.Year 12 A-level Psychology student
“What set Oxana apart was her consistent focus on the skills that really matter in A-level exams: precise explanations, balanced evaluation, evidence-based arguments and clear writing. She used relatable examples and carefully explained graphs to make complex theories in memory and cognition much more accessible, while exposing us to a wide variety of question types in social psychology. Her detailed, encouraging feedback helped me identify exactly where my answers could improve and how to develop stronger evaluative paragraphs. With her support, my critical thinking and quantitative analysis became much more secure, and I approached difficult questions with greater confidence, leading to better overall results.”
Salma D.Year 13 A-level Psychology student
“I was stuck at a grade B and struggled to reach the top marks on my AQA 16-mark essays, but Oxana completely changed that. From our very first session, her warm and approachable personality made me feel comfortable asking questions—even about tricky areas such as Research Methods. Her online lessons are seamless, interactive and genuinely engaging, and she has a way of breaking down complex evaluation points so they become much easier to understand and remember. Oxana taught me exactly how to structure my answers in line with the examiner's mark scheme, while keeping every lesson stress-free and encouraging. Thanks to her brilliant support, my grade rose to a secure A in my Year 12 mocks. I couldn't recommend her more.”
Hans I.Year 12 AQA Psychology student
“I started lessons with Oxana at the beginning of Year 13 when I was consistently stuck on Cs and Ds, overwhelmed by the volume of content and struggling to structure my essays. With her support, I achieved a solid B in my final exams. Oxana transformed how I approached 16-mark questions, teaching me a repeatable PEEL structure that helped me build critical AO3 arguments rather than simply list facts. We focused on my weakest areas, especially Social Influence and Memory. She made evaluation of research such as Asch and Zimbardo much clearer and used simple diagrams to help me compare the Multi-Store and Working Memory Models. Her deep knowledge of the AQA specification, patience and detailed feedback strengthened both my AO2 application and analysis. I honestly couldn't have done it without her and cannot recommend her highly enough.”

TEFL English

“Studying with Oxana was one of the best decisions I have made for my English. Her lessons are fun, lively and engaging, with just the right balance of games, speaking practice and focused grammar activities. Before starting, I often felt unsure when building sentences, but Oxana explains things patiently and in a way that makes even tricky grammar feel manageable. She always gives me time to think, encourages me to try and makes mistakes feel like a normal part of learning. I have gone from using shaky sentences to speaking much more confidently in class, and my school homework finally makes sense to me. I now enjoy using English instead of worrying about getting everything wrong.”

“The strong focus on real conversation helped me stop overthinking every sentence and start speaking English more naturally. Oxana creates a relaxed atmosphere where I can practise without feeling embarrassed, while still correcting me clearly and helping me understand how to improve. Her feedback is always specific, constructive and motivating, and the practice conversations have made a real difference to my fluency and confidence. For exam preparation, she identified my weaker areas in listening and reading and selected activities that targeted exactly what I needed. I became more strategic when answering questions, and my mock scores improved noticeably from week to week.”
Dimitriy A.Age 17 · B1 · Conversational English & Exam Preparation
“Oxana's lessons are challenging but always approachable. She balances higher-level IELTS strategies with strong general English practice, so I am not simply memorising exam techniques—I am becoming a more confident English user overall. We work across speaking, writing, reading and listening, with practical guidance that I can apply immediately in my independent study and everyday communication. Her explanations are clear, her feedback is thoughtful and she adapts each lesson to the areas where I need the most support. Since starting lessons, my IELTS practice scores have risen steadily, and I feel far more organised, capable and genuinely prepared for exam day.”
Viktoria M.Age 28 · B2 · IELTS Preparation & General English
“As a working adult, I needed flexible, practical English that I could use confidently in professional situations. Oxana's lessons are well structured, purposeful and highly relevant to real-life scenarios rather than filled with unnecessary theory. We practise the language I genuinely need for meetings, emails and workplace conversations, and she adapts the pace and content to my schedule and individual goals. Her patient explanations help me notice and correct mistakes without losing confidence. My spoken English in meetings has improved enormously, and I now communicate in writing with much greater clarity. I highly recommend Oxana to mature learners who want meaningful, personalised progress without the fluff.”
